Here's a detailed review of where the
major political parties stand on immigration policy. It has a lot of information, but it's nicely divided into Liberal, Conservative, N.D.P, and Green. It summarizes party policy from the last federal election (2015).

good resource on local (municipal) government with information on the organization of city councils and election of mayors (for Geli and Jerry!)
